Weeze is a lovable town in North Rhine-Westphalia in Western of Germany, near the Dutch border with more than 10,000 inhabitants on an area of 80 square kilometres. On the plains of the Niers, Weeze located some 24 km from the District of Kleve. Often land here have the aircraft of low-cost airlines, which specify Düsseldorf as a destination airport.

Knowledge is a moated castle, surrounded with Gräften, which is still for 500 years in family-owned and one of the most important noble seats in the lower Rhine. Schloss Kalbeck in Weeze was built, however, only at the beginning of the 20th century revival style and has a beautiful, Baroque rose garden.

Once in a year, usually in September, Weeze is a Mecca of techno fans when loading the organizers of Q-base, the former British military sites to a huge spectacle of music on multiple stages with artists from different countries.

The use of a rental car is advisable to the scenic landscape of the lower Rhine to Weeze enjoy or to visit one of the many nearby cities such as Cologne and Düsseldorf.
